If you can't find those old songs,
then we have the solution.

The beautiful music from long long ago is rarely recorded any longer. Trying to locate music from yesteryear is a challenge. We don't mean the songs of the 1950's, 1970's, or early 2000's, we mean before 1940. Some songs from as far back as 1850.

These are the songs that bring back memories.

Songs like:

  • I'm Looking Over A Four Leaf Clover
  • When I Fall In Love
  • In The Shade Of The Old Apple Tree
  • Love's Old Sweet Song
  • When You Wore A Tulip
  • What'll I Do
    ...and more
  • Up until now, you have been given a predetermined collection of songs on a CD from your favorite artist. The artist would record a number of songs, cut a CD of them and distribute the CD through the record and department stores.

Back during those years, you'd have to buy the entire CD and build a collection to get the songs that you liked the best.

Today, you can go online and find single selections of songs and download them. They can then be migrated from your computer to your IPod. But, finding the single song from the really oldies is quite daunting.

And, even if you can get them, do you have the tools to combine them and burn your own CD. Many of us do, but for those of you that would prefer, we can do it for you.

We have collected a number of these old songs and will now allow you to select the ones you would like to have and we will cut the CD for you.

And, who better to hear these wonderful oldies than by an artist who has been performing for over half a century. A man that has sung the National Anthem at sporting events for the Houston Astros, the Houston Comets, the Houston Aeros, and the Houston Wranglers. Who has entertained seniors in the Houston area for over 30 years, and still is.

    Johnny Hammond

Singer of the Good Old Songs

Johnny has been entertaining audiences for over 50 years. He brings to you some of the truely "Good Old Songs", music in a style that is easy to listen to and sing along with.

In February 1947, he joined the Society for the Presevation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing of America (SPBSQSA), of which he is still an active member. Johnny's first love is singing in a Barber Shop Quartet. He has seldom been without an active Quartet. And, he was the Lead for the 1989 Seniors International Championship quartet - the Bayou City Music Committee.

Since 1998, he has provided a cappella entertainment at sporting events, birthdays, special occasions, etc. and can customize his presentation for you.

Today he is active providing entertainment for seniors with piano accompaniment from Ardener Franshaw. The Hayride Singers is Dick Miles and Johnny. The Houstonaires and the Rumbleseat Four are quartets (Johnny is the Lead singer) that provide music in the barbershop style for events throughout Texas and Louisiana.

And, for an 83 year old singer, that is quite an iterinary.

Johnny has recorded over 200 songs. Songs that come from the early 1900's and late 1800's. Songs that have been around longer than most of us. That is why we call him the singer of "Good Old Songs".

In addition, we have provided selections from his duet "The Hayride Singers".

    Just imagine listening to:

  • Allegheny Moon
